Crypto.com Login Guide: How to Sign In Safely and Easily

Logging in to Crypto.com is straightforward once you know which platform you are using: the Crypto.com App or Crypto.com Web. The exact steps depend on whether you have already set up a passkey, which Crypto.com now supports for a smoother and more secure sign-in experience.

How to log in to the Crypto.com App

Open the app and tap Log in to existing account. Then enter your registered email address or phone number and tap Log in. If you have a passkey set up, you can use it to verify your identity and you will be signed in right away.

If you do not have a passkey, the app will guide you through additional verification. When you log in with your registered email, Crypto.com sends a message titled “Log In to Your Crypto.com App Account”. Open that email, tap LOG IN NOW, confirm the Anti-Phishing Code if you have one set up, enter the SMS code, and then enter your passcode. If you log in with your registered phone number, you will first enter the SMS code, then confirm the login email, and finally enter your passcode.

How to log in to Crypto.com Web

For Crypto.com Web, the sign-in flow also depends on whether you have a passkey. If you do, follow the on-page instructions to sign in. Crypto.com notes that only passkeys created from 15 August 2024 onward can be used on Crypto.com Web, and you can create a new passkey in the app for web sign-ins. If you have not set up a passkey, open the login email sent to your inbox and click Log In Now.

Setting up a passkey

Crypto.com supports passkeys on iOS 16+ and Android 9+. In the app, go to Settings > Security > Passkeys, tap Add Passkey, enter your passcode, complete 2FA if required, and choose where to save the passkey. You can store it on your current device, on another supported device, or on a security key.

Passkeys are especially useful because Crypto.com says they provide a more seamless login experience and can also be used for actions like whitelisting a withdrawal address or withdrawing cryptocurrency, reducing reliance on SMS OTPs and 2FA codes.

What to do if you cannot log in

If you forgot which email address is linked to your account, search your inboxes for “Crypto.com” and try the email address that has received Crypto.com messages before. If you still cannot find the right address or cannot receive the login email, Crypto.com says to contact Customer Support.

If you suspect a message is fake, do not click links or share personal information. Crypto.com recommends verifying communications through Crypto.com Verify and contacting support through official channels such as in-app support or chat.crypto.com.

Final thoughts

The safest Crypto.com login routine is simple: use the official app or website, rely on a passkey when available, and always confirm that login emails and support messages are legitimate. That small habit adds a strong layer of protection against phishing and account theft.
